but i would like to have a way of getting the flight data from the gps sd card. im already slowly converting my power needs to solar.

Yeah i already have it, however the places that ill be travelling to in Africa have sketchy power supply and would rather save my phones battery for any calls that i need to make. Will be travelling with limited access to laptops etc and was wondering if anyone has any ideas? gps60 saves the flights to micro sd, so there is a chance to switch sd card to phone to be able to upload to OLC.

GPSBabel is a command-line program, but comes with a graphical interface wrapper that allows access to its essential features. GPSBabel also comes with the ability to convert GPS data from one format to another, something lacking in EasyGPS.
